Review on FOSCAM G2 1080P 25FPS WiFi Security Camera by Tania Swenson

Want a reliable, easy to set up and versatile camera? THAT'S NOT THAT! This is my 4th FosCam in 4 years. I had one stolen, one failed, one retained settings when powered on. G2 replacement just arrived. With clear instructions, I attempted to set up using my mobile phone, the FOSCAM app and my 2.4GHz WiFi network. I've tried 20 times to connect the camera to Wi-Fi but it won't read the QR code from my phone and won't connect to the network. FYI, I'm using a Pixel 2 with the latest version of Android and the latest version of the Foscam app. I'll try a few more times and then send this junk back. Foscam Tip: Don't do it. advertise features that don't work QA your hardware as you seem to be having issues with the wifi modules. Provide some technical support, the current forum based approach is useless if most of the articles are several years old.
