I recently bought this 300 watt version. I needed more power so I ordered 600 watts. It appears to be exactly the same size and I think it's just rebranded 600 watts. I hooked it up directly to a large marine battery and 385 watts is the max load I could get before it worked. I tried a small 500w element and it just shut off. It's nowhere near the 1,200 launches it claims it can make. For me it works like the 300 watt unit I had. Very disappointed that these specs seem bloated and actual performance goes down but the price goes up.
