Used Kline household electric wire pliers for stripping wire ends. The 12 gauge setting matched the 12 gauge setting I bought perfectly. I estimated 94 feet for the work I had to do. I bought a 100ft roll, I was a little concerned I would run out of wire if my estimates were wrong. After I did everything I had about 10 feet of wire left.
