They really take care of my hair a lot better than other "seamless" hair ties. They look like old fashioned stockings sewn into rings, which sounds odd, but they work well for people with thin hair like me. I can also highly recommend it for off-label use. My cats are obsessed with them, so even if you're not sure how they work with your fur, this is a really inexpensive way to keep your cats entertained. (Have you seen how much pet toys cost now?) The only downside I see MIGHT be durability, but I can't speak to that because cats are so quick to chase them.
