Well I really wanted to like it because I find the price of the Gear Tie ridiculous. The problem, however, is that the metal wire in the middle of this material is so thin that it doesn't really stay bent safely in any application. It stays very loose and flexible rather than flexing harshly and securely around what you are trying to secure. I bought it to wrap loose cords around small kitchen appliances for example. But you have to use a very long piece of this material to do the job that a really short piece of Gear Tie can do. So I can't say I would recommend it.
