Mislabeled charging port One of the product photos appears to show a Lightning cable connected to the charging port. When I received the box, the back of the box said "Lightning Connectors" for this connector, but the USB-C logo was clearly visible on the front of the box. Just note that while the end of the cable that connects to your device is lightning fast, the charging port is actually USB-C. Speed I tested my adapter at 100Mbps and it was faster, but not by much. The 100Mbps adapter peaked at about 90Mbps, and this gigabit adapter peaked at about 110Mbps. For reference, my computer peaked at about 200-210Mbps. Some speed limit It's probably because my tablet only has a Lightning connector and no USB-C. The tests were carried out with speedtest.net.
