Revainrating 2 out of 5

The left mirror for my super service was smashed by another truck, which was carefully towed away.

The left mirror for my super guilt was smashed by another truck which carefully removed the old glass and back plate. This should have been the perfect setup, but it only comes with 2 of 3 (or maybe 4, I can't remember) mounting clips that snap into holes on the case. after riding without a mirror for 2 weeks i was dying to install it and wasn't aware that ALL the holes need to be filled with a mounting clip. Without all the clips in the holes, you end up with a mirror that moves every time you close the door, flops when you hit bumps, and doesn't usually point in the direction you want it to. Now I would like to replace the whole body assembly and everything as a whole. While the electrically heated plugs are correctly connected and appear to work well and the lens size is correct, apart from the complaint above I have found that the quality of the lens is not up to OEM quality as minor imperfections are visible when looking in the mirror . The device is definitely cheaper than the $110 Ford was asking for the glass, so I'm not complaining about the quality, just wanted to mention it. if my mirror didn't shake i would be fully satisfied with the quality for the amount paid
