I switched from low voltage and electricity to 20V a long time ago. After 8 of these handheld vacuums bought for myself, my extended family (I'm the one who recommends the 'best' devices) and friends, there was only one problem. They worked well, the design was good, but after a year or two at most they will go from 10-15 minutes at full power to less than 5 minutes at full power. AFTER fully charged. In general, the batteries are empty very quickly. Replacement batteries for these devices cost the same as a new device. The advantage of this Craftsman handheld vacuum is that it uses standard (for Craftsman) 20V batteries. This means I can swap them between my other tools and if needed just buy a spare and vacuum for longer than the advertised 15 minutes. I like the performance, it's very easy to drain and even do a deep cleaning twice a year. We use it in the kitchen, I borrow it for my workshop/shop and everyone else uses it on their cars. I myself carry a huge vacuum cleaner for my truck.
