I've tried several brands of aluminum free deodorant in plastic free packaging and I think I'll stick with this one. Yes, the push applicator could have been designed a little better, but for me, not polluting landfills and oceans with more plastic is worth the trade-off. I'm not sure why people complain about chalk deodorant. If you watch the demo video above, it will show you to warm it up by holding it under your armpit for a few seconds before turning it on. As soon as it gets even a little warm, it becomes silky. All you need is three strokes and then just take your hand and rub it a little (I skipped that step and it works just as well). I was really surprised how well it works, how long it lasts and how great it smells. I also like that it came in travel size.
