Worked great. I managed to extend the water change for another week. Worked almost too well. I've had people give me mixed reviews about its effectiveness. I'm sure that heat build-up etc can affect the viability of the product, but people should be aware that the nitrate-eating type of bacteria occurs at very low or no oxygen levels. So if you have good water circulation this may not work. I have bettas and planted tanks so I have very little current so sometimes I have to add an air stone to get the water moving in certain areas. I'm not suggesting using this in place of water changes, but I sometimes use it for nitrates enough that I can say thank you at the same time. So far this has worked great.
