Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Stylish Red Hook Dining Accent Chair in Camel: A Chic Addition to your Home Dรฉcor by Adrian Ojeda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A solid yet comfortable accent chair with clean lines; Instructions are vague but not overly complicated

This dining/accent chair came partially assembled and beautifully boxed. 2 legs are already attached to the backrest, while the other two legs and necessary gear are inserted into the bottom flap on the velcro of the chair seat. There is a manual but it was a bit vague and didn't mention the extra lock washers (you could also call them split rings, they are thin and have an open spot). There are a total of 5 bolts (these are "A" bolts), 5 washers, 5 lock washers to attach the rear seat. To mount this, peel back the bottom of the velcro and tighten the screws that way with the Allen key provided. part is vertical. I first tried assembling this by laying both pieces to the sides but couldn't get a good grip or enough tension to push the screws all the way through. flat washer. The instructions don't mention or specify in what order, but after some research on the internet I believe this is how it should be done. After assembling the backrest and seat, only the two front legs need to be assembled. with 4 screws (B), lock washers and washers. I've found that the best way to do this is to hold the leg flush with the edge of the outside corner and partially tighten the first screw closest to me, and then partially tighten the next screw by doing this move myself back and forth until I'm sure both screws are screwed right in. and tight. The instructions are contradictory in that one side of the page says the bolts should be 100% tightened while the other side says not to over tighten (that 90% tightening would be fine) , so I dressed until they were fully dressed. Once assembled the chair is a beautiful chair with clean lines. The stitching is immaculate and the chenille padding is plain and has a duller/matte appearance, with an almost tweed feel, more like chenille but a bit smoother. The wooden parts of the chair are solid. , and the finish of the legs is a dark, rich, warm stain with a pleasant sheen. The seat is deep/long and firm, yet comfortable. There's some cushioning, and underneath are flat springs that support pads and seats. For smaller people and small children (about 5ft 1in and under I believe) this can cause problems sitting comfortably without using a back cushion as the seat portion is very deep/long. However, putting a nice accent pillow on the back of your seat should do the trick. The backrest is actually shorter than the seat, so there's no shoulder rest if anyone is looking for that feature. Overall I like this chair and I think it will work well in the area where I intend to use it. as a general accent chair, either in an office or bedroom for that purpose, but light enough to be moved to another part of the house when you have lots of company and need extra seating. The description says these are also dining chairs but they seem a little short to me so I compared my dining chair to this one. My dining chair is just over 17 inches from seat to floor and just over 16 inches from this chair's seat to floor. It's only an inch but thought I'd mention it anyway. The back of the seat expands when bent backwards and the outer part of the seat expands. That makes it even prettier, but can pose a problem in determining if it's suitable for a limited space situation, so I took the appropriate measurements in the hope that someone will find something at the bottom of mine useful is review. The color is a clean but almost light denim blue, but no denim variations and not as dark as deep denim. I think it's comfortable enough for casual sitting, even for prolonged sitting, and I think it will work well in many spaces and with modern, contemporary and eclectic room designs thanks to its clean lines and style. I like the comfort and look of the chair, but the limited instructions and lack of weight restrictions aren't great. However I found it to be more of a slight disappointment and nothing major to deduct a full star which is why I'm giving it 5 stars because the chair is exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you for reading. Included are the measurements I took for those who need to decide if this will fit in a space limited situation: Backrest height 37 inches. Back and Seat Width: 21" wide at narrowest point. Seat Section): 20" deep from back. Seat Height to Floor, just over 16" including measurements from back to front of seat: 23" from top of backrest to front of chair: 27 in. me
