I have two 6 month old Newfoundlands that only weigh about 70 pounds but they chase each other and fight A LOT. They kept getting involved with everything I tried, including walking the dog. I attached both dogs to it with strong cables (although neither would stick to the round hook so I had to use a heavy duty carabiner) and they pull quite hard (they love chasing my chickens and squirrels) and he generally didn't come away. For those who say it's not for two dogs, it's for my two very active dogs - again with the help of a carabiner. And for those who said it came about, I suspect it has more to do with their country/soil. I was initially skeptical that it would work as it goes into the ground as easily as a hammer, but it would have to be something with the stakes for it to stay in place. I don't get paid or get bonuses (or whatever sellers do these days) for this review; I'm just really thankful that I finally found something that keeps me from untangling them every 5 minutes.
