Review on SunFounder 10.1 Inch Raspberry Pi Touch Screen with 1280X800P Resolution by Marcos Olmos

It's difficult to find a screen larger than 7 inches that combines touch capabilities and high resolution. 10 inches and 1280x800 resolution are rare. Use the screen in your projects. However, out of the box it's intended to be used as a tablet - your Raspberry Pi or similar can be attached to the back of the screen, and the included stands ensure the screen sits flat on a table. I think you'll probably want to build some sort of enclosure around it to protect the electronics. One thing that isn't posted is that the screen supports audio over HDMI, so you can connect some speakers without using your computer's 3.5mm output. In my case(!) I used the screen to create a Raspberry Pi based laptop (see attached images). ) and I placed the Raspberry Pi in a separate case on top of the screen for easy access to the GPIO pins. The high-quality screen really makes this project a success - the touchscreen means you don't have to rely on your keyboard's unreliable touchpad, and the high resolution means you can work comfortably without feeling like you're looking through a keyhole . I would also like to contact Sunfounder's customer support team who have been very quick to respond to my questions - I usually get a response within 12 hours. Overall, this is a high quality, bright screen with the best features I could find for this app.
