I have had my Ultimate G Kirby for a number of years now. The only thing we don't like is that this model has a harder time changing bags than other vacuums we've had. When I opened the packaging of these bags, I realized they had to be reusable bags. . I've bought things to replace temporary stuff like washcloths, reusable coffee pods, and pods. Stop some of the waste. Of course, these vacuum bags aren't reusable (phew!), they're tightly woven fiber and very well made. The part where it connects to the machine is solid and reliable. The bags I usually get are like brown insulated paper bags. I don't know if they have the same characteristics as these bags. They capture 99.97% of dust, pollen, etc. Looking at the fiber I can see that it probably filters well so what is sucked up stays in the bag. The information states that the bags should be changed every four weeks, so one pack of these bags will last for a whole year. I don't change mine nearly as often, but then I only use my Kirby on my wood and tile floors (with the hard floor attachment) and use a different carpet cleaner. pollute the car or the air we breathe. So it's been a few months since we changed the vacuum bag. So a pack of twelve lasts us much longer. We just installed new carpet and there is dust and fibers everywhere. I hurt my back so my husband vacuumed with Kirby and then changed the bag. He was sold. He said that for the first time he didn't have to fiddle with a vacuum bag. He's a strict judge on these things and he said he'd like to keep using them and stop buying others. Five stars for my husband.
