Very good for removing hair. It works just as well as the larger Braun epilator that I've been using for a number of years, but it's a lot easier to hold and use, especially since it doesn't need to be plugged into an outlet. I use it on lips, chin, armpits and (sometimes) arms and bikini line. I've never used it on wet skin, but I'm sure it will be just as effective. I didn't understand how!), so I guess once the hair removal function fails, I'll have to replace the entire device.
