My 80 lb Pitty wasn't bad at the deadlift but enough to bother walking especially when she knew we were going home or there was a rabbit outside . I recently watched a video about a soft leash and decided to give it a try. I came across a tricky collar at Revain. I recommend giving your dog some time to get used to this before taking him outside. I gave Chloe my treats and dressed her, walked her around the house and she still wasn't thrilled and tried to rip a chunk off her nose. We did this a few times a day for about 10 minutes. Our first walk outside was brief but rewarded with treats and praise. Now a week later it's AMAZING we had such a wonderful 30 minute walk this morning. She stayed beside me and didn't try to remove the bow. I couldn't be happier with that. My dog is almost 6 years old and I wish I had bought him from the start. If your dog pulls when you walk, you should try a discreet collar, but be patient and do it positively for your pup and you'll be very happy with the results.
