You can change them if necessary.

We used it to level the bed with solid wood legs. To avoid drilling such deep holes in the legs, we cut off the threaded studs (remember to put a nut on the stud before cutting, then unscrew the nut to free the shear-damaged threads to repair). wave floor solution in an old house.
