Sometimes (especially with more expensive printers) third party toner cartridges are not recognized or accepted by the printer. The chip or something else on the cartridge needs to be matched to determine compatibility. This particular printer has 3 colors and a black toner cartridge and I only needed the yellow to turn the printer back on. The yellow Cartlee cartridge was found good by the printer and printing worked fine. This is just one of five cartridges I have purchased. So I am very happy that I found a much better alternative to the more expensive OEM cartridges. And I have two black ones (which you usually use faster). I will update when I use other cartridges. Make sure to rotate the cartridges sideways about 5 times to unwrap/unwrap the toner, then attach and remove the tape on the cartridge.
