I have used them on six 22" aluminum wheels which Mequires practically destroyed became tools for cleaning aluminum wheels Combined with a few cleaners and polishes, they cleaned everything they could. They also held up without shredding or self-destructing, and they do their job well. In one review they were rejected because the metal holding them had fallen off. Drill forward, not backward, that's not going to happen. If you drive backwards they fall apart and it takes time to put them back together. You may have to supplement them with conical mops to get to every spot on your wheel (or use a toothbrush), but what they do work well.
