I have completed several paint by number kits from different manufacturers and unfortunately this is my least favorite kit. The canvas is nice and thick, the colors are good, the instructions are clear, but the numbers on the canvas are too dark and almost impossible to paint over. No matter how much paint I used, they still showed. Finally, I started picking a number to work by covering the number, applying white paint to it, waiting for it to dry, and then painting the area the color I wanted. This painting also generated many brush strokes. Not sure if it's canvas or paints or both. It was difficult to get even coverage unless you painted as best you could first and then reapplied the same color to the same spot to even out the brush strokes. So essentially you paint the picture twice. Of course, 2 coats of paint give the painting strong colors! Since it's so hard to get the numbers down, I wouldn't recommend this brand again.
