The absorption of my Dyson has greatly improved.
For many years I cleaned the filter in water by rinsing. But I read somewhere that they are still filled with mud. I've noticed that my Dyson's performance isn't as strong as it used to be. So I bought a new replacement and WOW. Doesn't matter! It now has the powerful suction that my Dyson had when I first bought it and picks up everything off the floor and carpet. Wonderful! I threw away the old filter and now I know how to get my performance back up when suction seems to be dropping. Just buy a new filter!
