I bought 4 of these for my 2 dogs because we lost 2 of them. The tube fits very loosely into the plastic part of the battery - when the dogs rolled or scratched on the lawn the collars would fall apart and fall off - after only 2 or 3 times they were put on. Since it was no longer dark outside, I didn't notice it immediately and then couldn't find her either! Thrown 20 bucks in the woods - I wasn't happy. I was about to switch brands but I really like how bright they are and how the whole collar is lit up so I ordered another one. THIS is perfect - the tubing fits very snugly to the plastic section that contains the flashlight and battery. So, in order not to lose the remaining carelessly tight sleeve from my previous orders, I glued the tube to the plastic part. This means I have to put it on my dog's head, so I had to leave it on more than I'd like - it dangles. But at least I'm not throwing away another $10. These collars are a great idea, but the manufacturer still needs to work on improving them. I don't have to buy 4 collars to get one strong enough to hold without glue!
