Disappointing right out of the box. He immediately started to admit that he wasn't cut out to play big records properly. The downside is related to the weight of the head on the needle. It is pushed off the plate and therefore cannot maintain contact with it. Instead of returning it and going through a world of pain, I fixed it by attaching a penny to it. Also, the speakers are loud enough to fill a small house and the radio is very decent. The playback options are great too and the style is nice too. Overall a needle lever scale would have made this a great product but for the price don't expect a bargain.
