Too loose for my chair

We have a turquoise leather chair from Cost Plus World Market. I think it's what they call glued skin. It was great many years before we got two Maine Coon cats. Especially love to jump on this chair and then jump and now there are little cracks and tears all over the chair arms which is a bummer. You make your hands "prickly" when you're sitting in a chair and resting your own hands on the armrests of the chair, so I figured some wrist covers would help. Yes, they help with that. But when I'm not using the pivot pins to hold them in place, I'm constantly adjusting them, picking them up and putting them back on as they slide onto the floor. I figured that "stretchy" meant they would be snug to some extent, obviously chair dependent. They don't fit at all unless you use them on a nice padded chair with very wide/large armrests. are going to be removed, so maybe I'll get some velcro or something. If it was a fabric chair, it wouldn't matter. In the meantime I'll use them and look for a snug fit that stretches to fit rather than just hanging there. Pins, that might not be fair.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say
