My boy is a little below average and very skinny and they fit him perfectly. We have a lot of wool so I can say it was a little less soft and scratchier and maybe a little bit fluffier but it worked great and he wore it a lot so I know it doesn't bother him. You are adorable on it. The coming weeks will be very revealing as to whether they help keep you warm, so I'll update as needed. Update: They've held up and worked really well which is why I've bought more for all my kids. This is the normal price for wool. Great base layer or comfy pajamas. Even good as independent clothing.
