I bought size 1-3 for 2 1/2 years. old granddaughter. Her foot length is about 5.5-6 inches and she usually wears size 6.5T shoes. These socks are moderately thick so I had to increase the size of the boot by 1/2 to accommodate the thicker socks. They're a little big on her, but not too big. She could definitely wear them all winter and spring if she has to. They're not as soft as Smartwool, but they don't itch and they're not as expensive! The colors match the picture quite well.
