Unfortunately I cannot give this product ZERO stars as after a few months of use it no longer keeps your pet safe on the go. I do not recommend this leash for large dogs that like to pull (Siberian Huskies, Huskies, etc.). The first leash I bought was for my 9 month old husky/saluki mix who was only 45 pounds at the time. In just 5 months the spring mechanism on the clip that hooks the leash to the dog's harness broke completely. I messaged Primal Gear on Revain and they responded quickly, apologised, and sent a new leash (no complaints about their customer support!). The owner of Primal Gear also reassured me that they had switched clip suppliers in the past month so I felt confident again about trying this leash. But here I am again, a little over 5 months later (almost the same time frame) and AGAIN the spring broke and the clip completely detached from my dog harness, this time while I was walking my two huskies (and if anyone knows anything about huskies , if they go off the leash, they are RUNNERS!). I simply cannot recommend a product that unfortunately does NOT protect your dog outdoors and on walks. I was just VERY lucky that the leash broke both times, I wasn't walking near busy streets and there were lots of people around helping to pack my dogs when the leash broke. :(
