When connecting this speaker to your phone, I find it works best if you first turn up the volume on the phone, then turn down the volume on the speaker, and then adjust to the volume you want. . When I was shooting the video, I had my phone's volume almost completely turned off. I stopped it to see how high it was and when I noticed it I turned it up about halfway and the speaker volume wasn't even turned all the way up. I stopped the recording and when I turned up the volume on my phone and then turned on the speaker I was glad I had my headphones on because I could still hear the music and it was still pretty loud with the headphones. This speaker is very easy to connect as long as the bluetooth is on and the sound quality is really clear. The speaker itself is not light and has some weight, but it is very durable. If you can't connect via Bluetooth, it comes with an AUX cable that you can plug into the speaker with everything you need to connect it.
