Review on Grey Hazel Beoplay H8 Wireless On-Ear Headphone with Active Noise Cancelling from Bang & Olufsen by Shawn Reiter

STROYFantastic. Exactly as described in the listing. Leather, metal, excellent assembly. The processing is much better than the H8i. One thing I have found working in business (private sector) is that the perception of progressing while reducing costs is very real. Read my review of the H8i. It felt pretty cheap. - Touch control. The H8i has crappy, cheap-feeling plastic buttons. - Removable battery. Fixed with H8i.- aptX LL and AAC. H8i does not have aptX. Smaller footprint (covers less ear) than the H8i for a better in-ear experience. This is especially useful if you tend to relax while lying on a pillow (the sides are touching less so you can turn your head better). ANC Better than H9 and comparable to H8i. In fact, they passively block more noise than the H8i thanks to the more durable ear cushions. Considering the physical advantages over the H8i, they're virtually identical in terms of noise cancellation. Works great in the car. I haven't tested them in flight yet, but judging by how they handle car and cabin noise, they should work fine on an airplane. Enabling ANC does not affect the sound quality. It should also be noted that walking with ANC on doesn't produce (to a lesser extent) the "thumping" noise characteristic of the H9i and H8i. SOUND In my opinion the best wireless headphones from B&O so far. Similar to the H8i, but I find it's a little richer and sounds a little "juicier". They're neither "bassy" like the H9, nor shrill like the H9i (which also causes nasal when ANC is on). Firm, commanding and deep (when required). Satisfies the emotional pressure of bass without going overboard. The mids are very well done. Great detail with clear, nuanced vocals. Pleasant warmth without dampening HIGHSH Clear, but not hissing or stinging There is a good feeling of air in the ears. CONNECTION Anywhere between 15 and 20 feet, great. At over 20 feet tall, it can begin to collapse if there are walls or other obstacles in its way. Free path, fixed up to 30 feet. That's the only real downside though, as like most I'm rarely more than 20 feet from my phone I don't think it affects the overall rating. BUY ITB&O got it right the first time.
