I have used other similar gloves to keep my hands warm, minimize arthritis pain and help me grab things I would otherwise drop; these are the best so far. I've dropped my smartphone more times than I'd like to think. These gloves help me hold it in place while leaving my fingertips open to use the touchscreen. I can type with them at full speed and my hands don't hurt when I use the computer. The worst thing that can happen to my stupid hands is that I sometimes lose control of the steering wheel. These gloves not only help you hold the steering wheel, but also prevent hand cramps while driving. The other gloves I used didn't have grip pads, so while riding I had to put on massage gloves for comfort and then another pair of gloves for grip; Now I only have to do it when it's cold. Hooray! I am very happy with these gloves.
