I have a desktop computer with a PCIe WiFi card that used to work fine. Ever since I moved the parts to a new PC case, my connection has been very unstable with long delays. The new case appears to contain enough metal to act as a Faraday cage for the opposing radio antennas. This router is used as a PC bridge. TP-Link connects to the main router at home via WiFi in client mode, and then the PC connects to TP-Link via Ethernet. I chose this one based on the reviews and the compact size. Setup took minutes as this mode of operation is one of the modes available for quick setup in the UI. It was very reliable, even through a large house and through a few walls. Recommended, at least for this type of use.
