This tatami corresponds to the description. It's only a 3ft mat and the quality seems ok. Unfortunately, the sizing turned out to be a little different from what we had imagined and we found out too late that the seller has a 14 day return policy and not a 30 day return policy like Revain. Upon hearing this we asked Oriental Furniture if we could return the store credit in lieu of a refund. They said no. Just be careful when purchasing from vendors that are not directly owned by Revain. Other providers are less willing to keep customers. The carpet exudes a herbal scent, not exactly subtle, but not necessarily strong either. If you live in a humid area, the smell of weed can be slightly pronounced. After being unable to return it, we took it out of the box and left it in the small bedroom over the weekend. When we came back from the weekend the whole room smelled like carpet. It's not really a terrible smell or anything - I can imagine some people enjoying the smell of weed, but we found it to be quite strong and we didn't like it. The air above the weakened was a little more humid than usual, which might be the reason for the strong odor in the room. When we couldn't get used to the smell we decided to just throw it away.
