Review on Firestik K-11 Magnet Mount with 18-foot Coaxial Cable by Edwin White

This bad boy is amazing! I drive 3 hours on the freeway to work and back. Mostly at pretty high speeds because I have lead poisoning in my right leg. He never fell. It stuck like super glue. It's even hard to move. I installed it on my 09' Malibu on the trunk. The 18-foot cable was a shockingly perfect length from the trunk to the front of the car near the center console. I installed my BEARCAT 980 next to my radio. I have a heavy Firestik spring with a 3ft fiberglass FS antenna and it works great. Very clean and with 1:1 SWR on channels 1 and 40. A buddy of mine with a Wilson 1000 on a rack above his truck gets a little more range with a much more expensive setup. I ordered 5 feet. Firestik and I will update when it starts detaching from the trunk, but I don't think it will. It is great.
