It sounds terrible no matter what sound source you use. I've tried high quality cables, high quality mixers and even high quality audio sources with the same result. The sound quality is terrible, with hiss on every channel even in the middle of nowhere with no other interference. I tried a small Bluetooth FM transmitter that I paid $14 for and it goes further and sounds crystal clear. At a time when money is hard to come by, it's not worth it.
