Several cellphones had already been produced at that point. Although I favored Apple devices, I did consider and ultimately pass up many Android smartphones. I reasoned that it was foolish to pay a premium for an open OS (Android) smartphone when there is a middle/budget segment on the same OS and with the same goodies and the approximate speed of the shell. I switch phones frequently, usually every three to six months. In the past, I've primarily used iPhones (last year: 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 7), but my patience finally ran out with iOS 11. I've been curious about trying out a flagship Android device from a global brand for some time now. Acer, LG, and even YotaPhone were among the many other brands present. But, the hands were unable to touch the samsa. And now the time has come; waiting is over. It turned out to be a terrific phone overall, with a nice balance of features, a sleek design, and enough of power. What else would you expect from the flagship model?
