Review on 🎨 Tuttle Origami Paper: 48 Sheets of Chiyogami Prints with 8 Unique Patterns and Easy-to-Follow Instructions for 6 Projects by Amber Perez

Great double sided paper.

I think origami is pretty cool and it can be quite difficult, and I'm no expert on anything complicated. I bought this because sometimes I make origami hearts to leave notes for my family members. I have illustrated the two most common types of hearts I make with this paper. The second requires the paper to be cut into a rectangle, and as you can tell from the slightly curved shape of my center piece, my measurements weren't exactly even. But it will work ;) So this paper has the weight and feel of wrapping paper. I like that there are different colors on the back because it makes the second heart style a bit livelier. It holds up wrinkles and folds well so I have no complaints about that. And for the first heart you need a square and all the dots match up so I know the paper I received was cut evenly. I usually prefer paper with more texture and it's completely smooth, but I really like the designs printed on it. My daughter did too and she was very disappointed when I told her this item was for me and not her. So the first heart I made for her :) and I reminded her that she still has a stack of her own paper to go through before I want to buy her any of it. And I would be willing to buy more for her, I think it's really beautiful. Just for your information, attached is a small booklet with instructions for different origami designs you can make in it (crane, balloon, helmet, kimono, star and swan). And as for shipping, mine was fully packaged and free from any condition or delay issues. So for me it meets all my criteria for a 5 star product, it does what it's supposed to do, everyone loves it and there have been no condition issues.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
