I chose this to be able to move games between different computers for testing and updating. Many games these days have huge updates that can easily waste my entire internet bandwidth per month updating them on every computer. Instead, I usually try to move games through my NAS so I don't waste as much bandwidth. However, some updates are in the hundreds of gigabytes, so I wanted to be able to push them faster. Enter this SSD. Ultra-fast writing and reading speed (400+ MB) with a constant writing and reading speed of 150-230 MB/s can be maintained at 300+ MB (assuming the target computer can support writing). This allows you to move around 100+ GB of updates to the game with relative ease. I tested it on Linux, Chrome OS, Windows 7 and Windows 10 and had no problems. During long recordings, the disc gets warm but not hot. I wrote several terabytes to this disk and had no problems. I'll let you know when he dies!
