Nice design and great sound, but the product has a few flaws: a. There is no way to balance high and low frequencies. This is particularly problematic when I'm listening to NPR or BBC radio, which tend to amplify their bass content for unknown reasons, often with a thud of drum music that makes it sound like army tanks driving down the street outside when I late at night hear . b. The power cable protrudes from the back, making it impossible to place the device firmly against a back wall. A simple corner plug would solve this problem. c. The CD player is nice and quiet --- until about 10 seconds before stopping, marring the last three bars of this exquisite Beethoven quartet with hiss-scraper-scraper-scraper-scraper-chu-chu-chu. At least it doesn't scratch when playing or in repeat mode. The remote control is not designed for use in the dark. If I'm using sleep mode and want to change channels or turn down the volume, I can sit down and turn on the light. On the plus side, although initially I didn't think the touchpad was a good idea. , I've changed my mind. There is no downside. I like the silver color, overall style and logistics. Above all, the sound when playing CDs is excellent. Expensive but worth it in my opinion.
