I don't think they are really made for nails
They are beautifully carved but it is very difficult to keep the snowflake on the nail with all the tips. They have no adhesive and therefore must be applied to wet paint. I think it's IMPOSSIBLE to use them with gel or regular nail polish as it would ruin the nail polish. I used them with acrylic dips so before applying the glitter I applied a base coat and let it set. Then I had to press the ends of the scales with special tweezers until the base was dry.
