So many reasons I love these dryballs!

I was so happy to find them! I used to use a product developed by another company that worked very well. Though they've served a very long time, it's time to replace them - easier said than done. Unfortunately, the company no longer makes what I used, instead focusing on balls of yarn. They didn't work for me at all. So I was happy to find not only textured dry bulbs, but also multifunctional ones. It is great! Here's my take on using them. *I use 4-6 per load, especially with sheets/duvets/towels. Considering they aren't as big as my previous favorite, I put 2 on the bottom, 2 in the middle and 2 on top as I'm hoping this will help keep a few balls from NOT getting stuck in the layers. At least that's what I tell myself. * To keep the fabric softener sheets in the ball, I first fold the fabric softener sheet like an accordion, and then, after skipping over it, unfold it on both sides. Ever since I started using this I haven't had any issues with dryer sheets coming out. * If you consistently use fabric softener pads in the dryer balls, wax buildup from the dryer pads will show up on the inner flexible flaps. Yes, it's a double-edged sword. Don't use sheets to dry? Yes, there is no accumulation, but unfortunately static build-up and greater wear and tear of the fabric will occur. Therefore, to get rid of the plaque on these balls, I pop them in the dishwasher from time to time. I place each dryer ball on one of the metal prongs on the upper arm. Do a regular wash/rinse cycle and the deposits will disappear. So far I haven't had any problems with it. * Due to their smaller size, they are also ideal for travel. i know you think Do you travel? We often stay in Airbnbs and also own timeshares, so it's common to access the W/D when traveling. I stuff a few in my boots in my suitcase and then use them in the laundry before we get home. The previous ones I had were too big to do. I definitely recommend you try these out! I'm glad I did!
