These shoes were (yes I said COMMODITY) amazing! Bought these specifically for our spring break beach vacation. I always buy one size larger than my kids current size so they use the shoes more but that was a mistake. My son wore them in the ocean once and while boogie boarding a strong current ripped them right off my kid, well - I should clarify ONE shoe was ripped off. We ended up throwing the second one away because who needs a shoe? In any case, that probably wouldn't have happened if I had ordered the right size and maybe made sure they were a snug fit. He liked them for the few hours he had and they looked very cool. My other child is younger and decided not to wear his water shoes (same brand, different colour) that day so luckily we had a pair left and tried not to wear them in the sea for the rest of the trip.
