I have a 1991 Yamaha xv750 Virago and bought these mirrors to replace the crappy little aftermarket mirrors the previous owner had installed. The left one fitted and secured well as expected, while the left one didn't fit at all. The mirror stems have right-hand threads, but my bike has both left-hand and right-hand threads to keep the wind from blowing your mirrors back. I've already ordered a reverse thread adapter, but be sure to check if you need a left-hand thread adapter before purchasing! My left mirror also has a very noticeable bulge in the plastic glass, which causes severe distortion when driving. Poor quality control for my set but that's what you get for the price!
