The headphones, especially the transparency option, surprised me in a good way. There is no sense that anything is off-balance or otherwise wrong with the sound quality; it is excellent for me. The microphone is the only "BUT" present. Everything is OK when you're inside and the background noise isn't too loud, but if you walk outdoors where cars are moving or when you're on a public transportation vehicle, the other person practically cannot hear you and the sound has an echo that sounds like it came from a can. Because of this, I don't like vacuum headphones; instead, I usually use AirPods. However, I bought these for a girl, and I was surprised to find that there was no longer any sense that the earpiece would come out. They stay in place properly, and wearing them does not tire the ears at all, but the girl's ears start to hurt after 30 minutes, which probably still relies on the size of the ears themselves))
