Review on MÜHLE TRADITIONAL R89 Double Edge Safety Razor: The Ultimate Barbershop Quality Razor for a Close, Smooth Shave by Jaime Collins

Muhle R89 is too aggressive for me. This is a beautiful razor that is clearly well made but I have fair sensitive skin and am uncomfortable shaving. Do not get me wrong. This gives you an extremely close shave, but my skin just can't take it. Oddly enough, it shares the exact same head as the Edwin Jagger DE89. Not sure why that is. In any case, the mill is, as I said, well made, but the handle slips off a bit when wet. He doesn't have many opportunities to knurl. I think I'll stick with my Rockwell 6C, Merkur 34C and Feather AS-D2.
