Delonghi will not honor your warranty

Bought this radiator about a year ago, worked fine first winter, stopped working second winter. They promise a 3-year guarantee, but they don't deliver. They asked me to cut the cable in exchange for a replacement unit. It's been 3 weeks, no replacement, and support always replies with standard emails.
