First Red Flag – Items arrived in a box with lids that appeared to be sealed with clear tape. The bottles had no internal seals under the caps (ie tamper evident seals). All Aveda products I have purchased from my showroom have had internal security seals intact under the caps. These seals prevent leakage during transit and ensure items are not tampered with. The second red flag - the shampoo didn't smell like the salon-bought one. However, it lathers well and cleans my hair well. The air conditioner also didn't have a smell like that in the cabin. In fact, the smell was very faint compared to him. I doubt it's really true? The conditioner left my hair soft but a little frizzy. It was an expensive lesson - in the future I will buy from a trusted store that sells safe products. Items may or may not be genuine - if they were sealed I would have no questions as to their authenticity.
