I bought three different flash drives and can compare them. The Arcanite drive is the best in terms of capacity and form factor, but it lacks speed. Advantages: speed. Yes, it's a fast read drive. I was able to easily reach 250Mbps and sometimes up to 300Mbps. More on writing speed later. Form Factor I like the rugged case and design of this drive. It's nice that the cap snaps back onto the body during use. Storage. Great value for the amount of storage you get. After that, the HDD quickly slowed down to 50-70 Mbit/s for the duration of the recording. I believe they have some kind of high-speed caching for the first few hundred MB, and then they can only write at the standard module speed. Formatting - was formatted in FAT32 which is deprecated and limits files to 4GB, prepare to reformat to a better file system. Overall, this 128GB drive was a solid choice for those who need faster than average reads and writes. If you plan to do a lot of write and read operations, e.g. B. transferring files for work or school, you might be better off spending more money on Sandisk Extreme go, which writes almost three times faster, although reading is about 30% slower. Also, don't buy discs under 128GB as the files are very large at the moment.
