If you are looking for a quality DAC at a low price, there are several options. Unfortunately, the emphasis here is on "a few". My last DAC, also from Topping (a different model), broke after just one year. It's a DAC, I kept it next to my computer all the time, never moved it or anything. He just collapsed. i wasn't happy So I didn't want to buy another topping. But here I am again, I couldn't find anything else that suited my needs for the money. I think it sounds really good, just wait and see how it holds up. <NOTE> - I had to download drivers from the internet to use this DAC. I received error messages that the drivers contained malware. I took a chance and installed them anyway with no known ill effects. The IIRC portion of the downloaded package has been quarantined. I think in-package (or pre-installed) drivers that do NOT drive my computer crazy would be nice.
