I had a massive infestation of white and brown planarians in my shrimp tank. They even united in the light. I have followed the instructions. On the second day I didn't see the planaria. It worked! About six days later I saw some small white planarians. It was probably the eggs during the first dosing regimen. I added the first daily dose of No Planaria. The next day I didn't see the planaria so I didn't give another dose. That was not necessary. It worked! People can get mad at me for that. I've seen that No Planaria is bad for snails. So I decided to use it to get rid of those pesky snails I got from the new plants. I am growing vegetable tanks in a 10 gallon tank in preparation for a 90 gallon tank that I am putting up. There are no farm animals in the plant tank. Before that, I treated the plant tank with a large dose of alum. It seemed to have some effect. Most snails died. But they returned. I added No Planaria to kill the snails. I used the full dose for three days instead of reducing the dose as directed. After a few days I saw no more snails. it worked! (Maybe not in the way the manufacturer intended, but definitely in the way I intended.) Oh, and I've reduced the amount of food I've been feeding the shrimp. I don't give leftover food to planarian chicks that might be hiding.
