When I picked up the phone for the first time, the very first thing that I noticed was how the rear cover, which houses the camera, sagged and creaked as if it were in the hands of an elderly Chinese person selling it for fifty dollars. This impression was reinforced further by the fact that the SIM tray somewhat protrudes from the case on one side, and that the entire frame that surrounds the screen is not the most even. The camera is present, but there is not the slightest bit of hope that anything interesting will come from it. At the very least, the primary lens and the front-facing camera continue to shoot, but the wide-angle and macro lenses have become entirely useless garbage and solid soap. The image that is displayed on the screen is disturbing to look at since it has a wavy appearance, although this is not due to the screen's low quality. There are also brief instances in which artifacts flash across the entire screen. Despite how infrequent this occurrence is, it is still very annoying. Even with the touchscreen, nothing seems to be going right. When he uses the swipe keyboard to type, he frequently cannot keep up with his finger and breaks the line. It appears that there is an oleophobic coating, but it does not appear to provide any benefit; the screen becomes extremely soiled, and even the least expensive protective glass proved to be superior. There are also issues with the radio module; the network catches more frequently than it did on any of my prior phones, and occasionally the connection is lost completely, forcing me to toggle flight mode on and off repeatedly. The proximity sensor is awful, and I still do not understand how to hold the phone up to my ear in such a way that it will not activate the screen. The sound that is produced in the headphones, that which is produced through the bluetooth, and the sound which is produced through the speaker is quiet; nonetheless, these are already inconsequential details. Additionally, there are some peculiarities with the charging process. When using the original power supply and wire, rapid charging from 0 to 100 only takes 10-15 minutes less time than conventional charging when using a conventional 2-amp charging unit. The entire smartphone experience is a bitter pill to swallow. In general, initially I expected to get a smartphone of the level of less budgetary, but already outdated counterparts, at least in terms of bringing the firmware to mind. However, in the end I actually got the cheapest no-name Chinese device with a full range of sores inherent in them, but which was significantly more expensive, and with proud writing Samsung, the sense of which is zero.
